Plant & Platform Consultants Ltd (P&P) is a multi-discipline, petroleum focussed, engineering design consultancy based in New Plymouth. We are seeking expressions of interest for the following positions to resource our expanding local and international workload:

Principal Pipeline Engineer - (Open Job Description)

The Principal Pipeline Engineer is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to run New Zealand's leading pipeline design team. We will be looking for a senior mechanical engineer having at least 10 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Experience should include high pressure pipeline design and contract/construction management. Familiarity with the AS2885 suite of standards preferred, but alternative international code background will be considered. Proven leadership is a requirement.

Senior Process Engineer - (Open Job Description)

Applicants should be degree qualified with at least 10 years experience since graduation. This experience should include design for oil, gas and petrochemical facilities, including process simulation.

Project Engineer - (Open Job Description)

The Project Engineer role is a new position within the organisation to support the existing team in running various levels of projects for our wide range of clients. Ideally, applicants should have at least 3 years project management experience, but training will be provided and we are keen to explore opportunities with the right candidate. This candidate will need to demonstrate initiative and energy to lead projects through all stages of development.

Senior Mechanical Engineer - (Open Job Description)

Applicants should be degree qualified and have at least 5 years experience in design for oil, gas and petrochemical or similar facilities. Being design oriented, it requires familiarity with New Zealand and international codes and experience with AutoPIPE or similar stressing packages. Good communication skills are essential for liaison with project engineers, designers, other disciplines, external clients and design verifiers.

Piping Designer - (Open Job Description)

Should be fully conversant with AutoCAD and 3D modelling software and appropriately experienced with local industry requirements. Particular experience with oil, gas and petrochemical industries is required. Familiarity with New Zealand and international design codes is required. Training will be provided, and the successful candidate will be measured on initiative and fit with our current team.

All positions require good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential as you will be required to liaise with project engineers, designers, other disciplines, external clients and design verifiers.
